4. Salam Capital (ra's al-mal al-salam) and Its Immediate Payment
- Advance payment amount (in figures and in words)
5. Delivery Date and Place
- Delivery date (ajal al-salam)
- Place of delivery
The buyer may not sell the salam goods (al-muslam fihi) before taking actual possession of them.
The salam capital (ra's al-mal) may not be a debt owed by the supplier to the buyer (the prohibition of bay' al-dayn bi-al-dayn, "debt for debt").
