Who processes the data

The Mizan service: the site mizan.cx, the iOS and Android apps, and the Telegram bot @AiMizanBot. You can reach us through the bot — it is a working channel, and a person reads what arrives there.

There is no registration

We do not ask for your name, phone number or email. Your device receives a random key by which the server knows whose documents to show. The key is tied to nothing and shared with no one; if you change device or clear the app's data, you lose access to the earlier documents — and we cannot restore them, because we have no way of knowing they were yours.

What is stored

The documents you sent: the contract file, the recognised text and the result of the review. Kept until you delete them.

The questions you asked: a service record keeps the beginning of the question (up to 200 characters), the language and the time. This is how we see where the review stumbles.

Technical records: the time of the request, the kind of action, and the network the request came from. The network is not the full address but a coarsened form of it; it is what the rate limit is counted against, so that a single source cannot take over the service.

Who it is shared with

The pages of your contract and your questions go to OpenAI, where they are recognised and reviewed. Without that there is no review — we have no model of our own. Under the terms of their API, what is sent is not used to train models.

No one else. We do not sell data, show advertising, or install tracking counters.

Why this is needed

First, to review your contract and answer your question. Second, to understand which deals people bring and where the review gets things wrong, so it can be made more accurate. For the second, depersonalised records are enough — not the contracts themselves.

How to delete

In the app and on the site: «My documents» → delete. The document and its review are erased from disk. To erase everything at once, write to the bot @AiMizanBot and we will delete by your key.

Security

A document is served only to the key it was uploaded with: someone else's contract will not open even if its number is known. Communication with the server goes over a secure connection.

Children

The service is not intended for children and deliberately collects no data about them.

Mizan does not issue fatwas and does not replace a scholar. A review is neither a fatwa nor legal advice.

Changes

If this policy changes, a new update date will appear here, and material changes will be shown in the app.
